Knowledge Base & FAQ

Everything about the Rating System v2.0, Rules, and Account Management.

How do I join the server?

Search for 'Gamers Paradise' in the Assetto Corsa server browser. No password is required for public lobbies.

Is it free to play?

Yes! The servers are completely free.

Which cars can I drive?

We focus on GT3 class racing.

Do I need a steering wheel?

While a wheel is recommended for precision and safety, controller players are welcome as long as they can maintain a safe driving standard (SA Rating).

We use Steam OpenID for authentication. This connects your in-game racing activity (identified by your GUID) with your web profile.

Benefits of Linking:
  • Access to personalized Stats Dashboard
  • Claim your driver profile
Privacy Note

We do NOT receive your Steam password or email. We only receive your 64-bit Steam ID and public profile info. It is 100% safe.

The Hub Score is a weighted average of three pillars. It rewards complete drivers, not just hot-lappers.

Performance (ELO) 50%
Safety (SA) 40%
Bonus 10%
Performance (50%)

Based on your ELO Rating. ELO is only gained in Multiplayer races (min. 2 drivers). Solo sessions do NOT affect your Performance rating.

Safety (40%)

Based on your SA Rating (0-99). Safety is ALWAYS tracked, even in Solo Practice. Consistent, clean laps are the key to a high score.

Clean Bonus (10%)

Winning a Multiplayer race (P1) with ZERO incident points grants a massive 'Grand Slam' bonus. Solo wins do not count.

Anti-Farming Rule: Races with only 1 driver (Solo) do NOT award Wins, ELO points, or Championship points. They count for Safety Rating and Consistency.

We use a dynamic Safety Rating system similar to ACC. It is a trust metric ranging from 0 to 99.

Start: 50 SA Min: 0 SA Max: 99 SA
Gaining SA (+)
  • Clean Laps: Valid laps without incidents award partial SA points (+0.2 - +0.5). Consistency is key.
  • Solo Practice: You CAN improve SA in Solo/Practice sessions, though slightly slower than in races.
  • Race Finishes: Finishing a race without DNF gives a reliability bonus.
Losing SA (-)
  • Track Cut / Invalid Lap -0.5 SA
  • Wall Contact / Loss of Control -2.0 SA
  • Collision with Opponent -5.0 SA

We utilize a zero-sum ELO system. Points are exchanged between drivers after every race.

Key Mechanics
  • Beating Stronger Opponents: Awards significantly more points than beating weaker ones.
  • DNFs: Quitting a race or DNF counts as losing to every driver who finished.
  • Multiplayer Required: ELO is NOT calculated for solo races. You must face at least one opponent.
Ranking Requirement

To appear on the Leaderboard, you must complete at least 3 ranked multiplayer races. This prevents one-hit wonders.

Every track runs on a weekly championship cycle (Monday to Sunday). Points are cumulative.

Points System (F1 Standard)
Pos 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th+
Pts 25 18 15 12 10 8 6 4 2 1

Points are only awarded in sessions with >1 driver.

  • 1. Blue Flags: If you are being lapped, hold your line. Do not make sudden moves. Let the faster car overtake safely on the straights.
  • 2. Rejoining: Check your map/mirrors before rejoining the track after a spin. Unsafe rejoins resulting in crashes are heavily penalized.
  • 3. Retaliation: Intentional crashing ('Punting') or retaliation is strictly forbidden and results in an immediate ban.
  • 4. Chat: Be respectful. No racism, hate speech, or toxicity. We are here to have fun.

My stats didn't update after the race?

Stats are processed when the server session ends or rotates to the next session (P -> Q -> R). This can take a few minutes.

I can't find my name on the leaderboard?

Ensure you have completed at least 3 ranked races. Also check if you have linked your Steam account properly.

I was kicked from the server?

This usually happens if your ping is too high (>300ms) or if you are AFK for too long. It helps maintain server quality.

The Hub is constantly evolving. Here is what we are working on next:

Teams & Constructors

Create a racing team with friends. Scores will be aggregated into a Constructors Championship.

Advanced Telemetry

Deep dive sector analysis and line comparison vs. top drivers.
